Mission

        The mission of the student-run firm, Hubbell Connections, is to ensure members of MSU's chapter of PRSSA receive the real-world experience needed to succeed as professional and ethical public relations practicitioners, by providing a public relations environment in which members can deliver quality services and build positive relationships with clients and the community.

Goals

• Create an environment of learning that allows students to gain practical public relations experience while maintaining their coursework and other extra-curricular activities
• Allow students to grow as professionals, creating a culture of recognition and success
• Provide regular training sessions and mentoring opportunities for members, developing an awareness of the advancements in the public relations industry as well as a commitment to the professional growth of each member

New Client Update

        We are beginning to work with an up and coming alternative rock band, Not Another Hero. Described as "organic rock that will make you party till you drop," the locally based four man band has been likened to Finger 11 and Three Doors Down among others. To get involved:

        We'll be looking for Account Supervisors to handle new clients and work on different campaigns. An Account Supervisor should have at least one year of experience with PRSSA. Account Supervisors are responsible for maintaining continuous contact with the assigned client. Account supervisors are expected to be professional, mature, responsible and ethical and act as an agency representative at all times. There must be a full understanding and awareness that a time commitment of 5-10 hours a week and attendance to all firm and leadership meetings will be expected. Account supervisors will also be responsible for developing goals and objectives with their clients and account members, lead in the development of all client accounts and report to the Agency Director with any question or concerns.

        Hubbell Connections is currently looking for interested persons to interview for a position as an Account Supervisor. Potential clients include non-profits, music/entertainment, long-term clients and special events. Please e-mail msuinspirecom@gmail.com if you are interested in applying.
